ABOUT ME
I'm a first-generation Filipino American. I immigrated to the United States in the mid-1990s and was raised by a single mother, a middle school math teacher, in the heart of Silicon Valley. I graduated from U.C. Berkeley with highest honors in Legal Studies , where I spent most of my time advocating for a right to an affordable higher education, educating high school students from low-income neighborhoods throughout California on how to pursue higher education, and helping with first-time juvenile offenders seek a better path forward through restorative justice.
I have since dedicated my entire career to building better communities through advocacy, government, and political leadership, where I was able to best utilize my skills in project management, relationship-building, community organizing, mentorship, and strategic planning for issues and candidates that mattered to my community. MY WORK STYLE
D Style // People with the D style place an emphasis on shaping the environment by overcoming opposition to accomplish results. A person with a D work style is motivated by winning, competition and success; prioritizes accepting challenge, taking action and achieving immediate results; is described as direct, demanding, forceful, strong willed, driven, and determined, fast-paced, and self-confident; and values competency, action, concrete results, personal freedom, and challenges.
INFJ // INFJs indeed share a very unique combination of traits: though soft-spoken, they have very strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea they believe in. They are decisive and strong-willed, but will rarely use that energy for personal gain – INFJs will act with creativity, imagination, conviction and sensitivity not to create advantage, but to create balance. Egalitarianism and karma are very attractive ideas to INFJs, and they tend to believe that nothing would help the world so much as using love and compassion to soften the hearts of tyrants.
Arranger // People strong in the Arranger theme can organize, but they also have a flexibility that complements this ability. They like to figure out how all of the pieces and resources can be arranged for maximum productivity.
Belief // People strong in the Belief theme have certain core values that are unchanging. Out of these values emerges a defined purpose for their life.
Maximizer // People strong in the Maximizer theme focus on strengths as a way to stimulate personal and group excellence. They seek to transform something strong into something superb.
